87 supra n/a not charging
Brand new optima battery and alternator still not charging need help

Have you checked the output of the alternator, if no output check the brushes, I had to change mine around 100K, very easy to change.

I have traced it to the kick panel fuse block the engine 15a fuse connection inside had melted am trying to track down one have rewired an extra fuse holder temporarily

I know it's late but did you get this sorted out? There are two fusible links which are likely to be the cause. One's in the engine bay fuse box on the left, on earlier models it just looks like a wire. and the other is a segment of wire that's patched into the cable between the alternator and battery.
