Engine Removel
This maybe a dum question, but I have never pulled the engine out of a 1989 Supra. In the past I have rebuilt two supra engines from an '83 and '84 but never a turbo.
I have purchased one that requires some engine work and it will have to be removed from the car. My question is: Can the engine be removed without taking the trans with it? Or will I have to pull the trans with the engine. Any info on this would be very helpful. Thanks. |

Much easier to pull/replace when you pull them both out together.
