Sponsors
I am new to this whole thing so.
Sponsors, first of all are they hard to get for a mkiv? Where to look? Sponsors, the good, the bad? Things needed to get one, where to start? Anything else worth knowing.. Any input is appreciated..

dont know much about sponsors but i know that u can usually send pics of your car out to them, somehow show it to them and they'll decide if you are worthy depending on what path youre taking...drag racing, drifting, car shows, stuff like that, if they think you have potential for winning theyll pick you up, that means free stuff and perks no one else gets, the bad is...depending on how big a role they play, they can regulate how many other sponsors you can pick up...like lets say you get a big company like TRD or something...then u also get an offer from lets say a small hometown company...depending on your contract TRD may tell you that you cant pick up that company according to contract or else you'll lose the TRD sponsorship, the car prety much has to stand out and be unique, it has to be something different....uhh f&f cars i guess would be a good example, something thats not seen normally on a daily basis, you can look anywhere.. internet, car shows, sema shows, enter some events and talk to the big name sponsors and see what they have to say

i have seen in magazines that there are sites that you can apply for sponsorships. i also read somewhere that companies looking to sponsor look for people with potential and have already started putting in their own ideas and money... just something to think about. but this doesnt mean you shouldnt try. i say go for and let us know what happens
