what does it do
hello all just joined the forum and need help, i have a 1990 twin turbo automatic which has a red button to the left of the drive selector, can anyone tell me what it is for, i cant read japanese and it is very frustrating.

Is it "on" the shift handle?? Perhaps the overdrive on/off button.
On the console near the lever?? Maybe the "shift lever release button" to allow lever movement without having to press the brake pedal. |

well i think you may have answered my question as i hadnt tried that , i will try it tommorow , well thats problem less, thank you lots as it is next to the selector it must be to release with out using brake [not something i do] .
