Need Answer Befor Lunch
Hi!
I'm going out on my lunch hour to buy a Universal Magna-flow cat with 2 1/2 inch openings for $70 and bringing it to Meineke around the corner from my job to have it installed for $60. Does this sound like a good deal? Any input would be welcome. I have about 2 hrs to go, so please help. Thanks, James in NJ |

it depends, good deal on the cat i think, but if it just bolts up, do it yourself might be better, but if its got to be customized and welded in, that sounds about right..

They universal is a weld-in. But that's OK, cause by now the bolts and nuts are rusty, so leave them alone. Also the flanges get rusty and sometimes getting them to seal back up with new gasket is impossible.
