I just had my Magnaflow catalytic converter installed this morning (Thursday, Dec. 22) and was wondering if I should run it a while before going through emissions again or go as soon as possible. I installed new O2 sensor and passed all emissions except hydrocarbons which did go down from 279 to 207. So should I run it a couple of days or get it there now? Saturday would be a good day for me to go, because I'm up early and have to ride past inspection station anyway. Any thoughts will be welcome. Thanks, James in NJ

Go anytime, as there is no prep needed. We install cats every day and run the test right away.
