the only way i know u can remove the rev limiter is to get a stand alone ecu where u can tune ur setups and adjust the powerband of the motor thus raising teh redline and pretty much removing teh rev limiter...though i dont know why you would want to remove it since your car seems to still be in stock form

No you can get whats called piggy back chips that remove the rev limiter which inregards to hondas I know Mugen and Hondata offers such a feature. Now toyotas I think the e-manage does this and so does apexi. Also another alternative is you can take your stock ecu to a tune shop and they can flash the pcm to eliminate the limiter.

Default delimit

well thank you both for the ideas at least i have a begining, the 112mph limiter on this car is bad news in the uk as my non turbo 88 supra tops out about 150 untuned, we dont get crucified with emission laws here as ive heard you do, in england little shopping cars of 1.4 ltr will out pace my twin turbo with this limiter on it, so i believe its an added limiter not the ecu as the car tries to over come it at 112mph then gets stopped harshly while still trying to rev, have i got it all wrong do these supras only do 112.

Then somethign must be wrong with your car. Cause the US isnt strict on emissions except in cali. Now I knwo there si somethig wrong becasue my NA mk2 does over 130 with a breeze. So I would get it checked out cause that doesnt sound right.

Talking

I bet your talking about a SPEED limiter...not a rev limiter. Is your car a Jap Spec Supra? If it is....all the Jap's are fitted with a speed limiter that stops the car at about 12mph. This can be overcome by fitting a speed-delimiter, attached to the ABS speed cables behind the dash. (behind the odometer).

Job done...Supra N/A 150MPH
TT 168MPH HAPPY DAYS!!!
