well i just got back from test driving a supra turbo, and i wanted everyones
opinion on if i should get it or not. the body is strate but the clear cote is coming off . it has 121k miles on it. the turbo seams to be good. there is an oil leak on the front trubo side of the ingen (not the turbo). the seats are trash they need to be reapolsterd. the trany seams to be just a lil loose but ok. he wants $1500 for it what do you think? edit: yes i know my spelling is bad im sorry |

it seems like it may be a good deal? 5-sd or auto tranny???
oil leak is minimal, just replace the oring w/ a toyota dealer oring, not a aftermarket oring. It could be laking through the shaft also, but hard to say without piks.. have it checked for a head gasket leak also.. its a common problem unfortinately.. |

yep, get a block test done to check for bad hg & do a compression check... at least you'll know if the motor is reasonably good
the o-ring is what seals the cps/dizzy in the head.. it will be old and plastic now so won't be doing a hell of a lot and will leak oil onto the exhaust manifold.. get an oem replacement and you'll be sweet good luck with the car and post some pics
