Looking for a Supra
Alright well I have been looking for a little car for a long time now... and I really like the 90-92 Supra's... I am currently going to college in Durango, CO which is in the very southwest corner of Colorado and right in the mountains... it hasn't even snowed there yet this year but last year it snowed in October...
Right now I have a 1986 Toyota 4Runner... it does ok there but they are so underpowered... it just puts up the mountains... now I did read a thread called "Supra in the Snow" which basically scared the crap out of me... are they really that bad? If so this car probably would not be the best for me... I really want another Toyota though because the 4Runner has been very dependable... So would it be basically impossible to have a Supra as a DD in Durango? Thanks

I Live In Stowe Vt. and work for the most part at the top of mount mansfield ski resort and drive my 87 turbo up the mountain every morning(Still haven't gotten my winter tires put on yet) I'm running eagle gs-3 245-50zr16's and the only problem I have is on take off as the car just loves to turn the tires. as for handling in the snow ect. I love it myself because it handles well but you can still get the fun that comes from spinning in a rwd.
I think with a set of snows you'd be fine with it as a D.D |
