Noob needs a hand
hey supra owners. im currently looking at an 88 supra (7mgte motor) turbo with an automatic to purchase. i know little about mk3s tho and i need some quick answers. does this vehicle need to run on Premieum fuel(91 octane) or is 87 or 89 octane sufficent? stock hp/torque? moddable? would this make a good daily driven vehicle. the one i have my eye on has low miles which is a deffinate plus. thanks a bunch!!!

yes primium gas for turbos is recomended. especially if you use the turbo..
stock hp is around 230 at the crank and im not sure on torque, i think its more than the hp extremly moddable with cash or credit.. As for as a good daily driver, i drive mine daily, but i dont commute. i put lots and lots of repairs before i even began to mod it. Hard question though, its an old car, so once it brought up to par i think yes, but head gasket leaks are common for the 7m, so keep that in mind.. parts do seem to be marked up a bit on anything with the word supra in it..
