Heater
Hi, I have a 96 twin turbo but the heater matrix inside the car has a leak, any tips on removing/replacing this bugger, also on getting me hands on another one???

Well, since you did post in "The General Questions" as opposed to the MKIV section, I shall take a stab at it since I did remove my heater core (assuming a heater matrix and heater core is the same thing, but you come from an area where they call it a matrix).
You have to take the dash out to access that part. It is not the quickest job in the world, but not the worst. As far as getting one, buy one from a member here by putting up a WTB thread in the classified section. Or ask someone who is parting out a car that has the heater core that you need. I have bought and sold many parts on forums and I would definitely recommend doing that. That is what so many do. |
