I just got the transmission rebuilt a little while ago. I notice that when I try and accelerate with 100% throttle, the tach only goes to 4k rpms and then shifts. Any one else have or know what the heck is going on?

There's an adjustable cable to the trans. Its at the throttlebody, not the accelerator cable. There is a proceedure in the TSRM.
