driving from a stop you feel it go through the gears ( if you really listen, its damn smooth ) and get to 90km at about 3.5 - 4 grand ? then pop it in o/d. what it does is drop back by about a grand, and then another after a second or so, so it sits on about 2,000 rpm.
L on my shift only works first ( not 1 then 2, as i understand they are supposed to do ), 2 is actually second so D would be third with the o/d button clicking in fourth and then locking that and third together to give an over - drive. although this is fun when you want to take a spin around the block as i don't need to lock it into L and then try to kick-down it around the corner ... does anybody else have a similar problem or know if it's less than normal ? mkiii 86.5 automatic 3.0L with turbo and intercooler. lights tires like matches. ps to be honest, i don't know if gaining the ability to select a fourth gear is worth losing that driftability ...

So I bought this old Honda bike, an NSR250. Bit of a street racer, I guess. I'm told they're fast. Delivering it home with a friend driving the Supra for the first time. I drop gears and make a scream from the twin pipes flowing down this pony's flanks and it takes off like it's tail's on fire. I look back when the Honda gets to its tap-out and the Supra's only two lengths behind. No one I've let ride my bike has told me its slow, they've all loved the thing.
