Cam pin/gear locations 7MGT-E?
Trying to finish a head replacement for a friend on a 1988 Supra Turbo, but I have a small question. The machine shop sent the head back with cams installed, but removed the cam gear pins. There are 3 holes in the cam ends, which hole held the pulley pin from the factory? (or does it even matters?). Thanks in advance.

From the factory the cam pins go in the middle of the cam gears.
If you change them, you will have the feature of either advancing them or retarding them, but I am not 100% sure which way would advance or retard them. Stock, as I said, is in the middle hole. If you want, tell me how much they shaved off of the head and the block along with how thick your new HG is, and I can calculate how many degrees you will be advanced/retarded. (Although it would most likely be less than one degree.)
