What is this car worth?
I have recently had a MKIII 87 Turbo 5-speed come in to my possesion. I am not interested in owning the car but one of my customers paid for a clutch job on another of his cars with this car. The problem is the clutch on the Supra is done. Or at least I believe so since it seems the hydralics are working. He thought the tranny was bad but it shifts fine there is no problem there. Anyways the car is a bit rough but the motor just passed smog last month and the car is tagged. Like I said I'm not interested in the car much. I have an RX-7 to fullfill my RWD needs right now. And a Prelude for the FWD action. Plus I own many other cars in various states of running. This is what happens when you work on cars I guess you just end up accumulating them. Anyways.......It's a targa top maroon interior was white exterior now it's primered white exterior and it has 215,512 Miles on the odometer. The motor doesn't appear to be in any kind of bad shape from my very short inspection. I see the JDM engines are about $1000 so I'm wondering if I should just pull the motor sell it and scrap the car. If anyone wants to buy the whole car I'm located in central CA (Hanford to be exact) Make me an offer I can't refuse. Like I said I don't want it so someone that likes these cars should buy it from me for cheap and enjoy it! The car is tagged as well.

So I bought this old Honda bike, an NSR250. Bit of a street racer, I guess. I'm told they're fast. Delivering it home with a friend driving the Supra for the first time. I drop gears and make a scream from the twin pipes flowing down this pony's flanks and it takes off like it's tail's on fire. I look back when the Honda gets to its tap-out and the Supra's only two lengths behind. No one I've let ride my bike has told me its slow, they've all loved the thing. That car is a good thing indeed. |

i don't quite have enough money to buy another car at the moment, but when i do, i actually want to get a 5 spd mk3 turbo targa. So i guess im just more interested to see what this sells for, so i know what kind of range i need to save up for, being that right now i have only a few hundred dollars at the moment... and an mk2 if i can find sum1 willing for a trade in. Im only 17 which is why my money is so tight. actually, that car is really apealing to me at the moment... ill just sit here and curse myself for being so goddam broke. What kind of price range are you expecting to get fromt his car anyway?
