have you checked to make sure the tranny cooler isn't blocked?
maybe install an aftermarket one and a temp gauge to see what the temps are really getting to

Wink cooler is kool

Does the tranny oil run into the radiator??? If not, the add-on cooler must be VERY big to cool down the oil. In fact, you may want to put one of those coolers on that come with its own fan.

As I'm sure you are aware, for every 20* temp drop (cooling) of the tranny oil, you will double the life of the trans. Trannys generally run at about 170*.

NO , the only cooling the fluid gets is from a trans cooler a bit bigger than this one http://www.coximports.com/BMR-70255 which sits in front of the radiator fan.

P.S I dont think any aftermarket preformance radioators like pwr, fluydine, koyo have a trans cooler in them.

So, then, what you are saying is that you are using a cooler that has NO seperate fan, and is only about 12"x6"x3/4", right?

Without running the oil into the radiator (which, by the way, coolant disepates heat 10x quicker than air), or one with its own fan, you need a cooler the size of your a/c condensor (in my opinion).
