Did you remove the diagnostic jumper(paper clip) under the hood from the diagnostic block when you last checked codes?

I've pulled the fuse to reset the ecu and started the car and it runs the same I've done it with the jumper and with out the jumper and it does the same.with the jumper in it will flash code 51 only when I try and give it gas and when I let off code 51 goes away.

I would try to adjust your TPS as per the TSRM on page FI-103 and see if that makes it go away..

I've done that three or four times and it is still the same.I've checked the tps with the ohm meter also and it shows its good.I've checked the wires all the way back to the ecu just to make sure that they were good also.

vsv switches under the intake
i had the same problem last summer
you're probably eating gas like candy too

there is a switch for fuel and a switch for egr
check em for continuity ohm resistance is 30-50 ohms
page FI-99 and FI-98 service manual
