Need insurance help MK1

I was hoping someone could help me with this question. I have a 1979 MK1 Supra with 64,000 original miles. The car has new paint and is in excellent condition.
Recently someone backed into the drivers door denting the door and busting the glass. The body shop estimate was for $1795 to fix. The others person's insurance company says that since the car is 27 years old that they will have to total the car and send me "fair market value" of the car. I do get to keep the car and it only has a dented door and broken drivers side glass, the rest of the car is still excellent. But even at that I do not believe they will give me any thing near what the car is worth or enough to fix it.
The question is can anybody point me in the right direction to find out what my car is worth to a Toyota collector seeing how this car"was" in excellent shape for a 1979 MK1 Supra? Or what the fair market value of one is? Hopefully a link to an auction of one in great shape?
