I know this is stupid but I have had my car for 4? years and still cant figure out where to turn the heater and defroster on? Anyone know? Its a 1987 supra. Its a good thing I live in the desert and havent been suffering in the winter. Also, I have what looks like a radiator light on the left side of the dash that is on continuously. I have had many heat related problems but am not sure which problem is causing the light, anyone know.?
Thankyou for your help. Roxanne |

hmmm unfortunately i can't help you with the heater controls as jdm (aussie & nz and others) are different to us spec supras
i'm sure someone on here will help you out with that with the radiator light i would say that your coolant level is low, check your water level and top it up and your light should go out let us know how you get on

Thankyou for your responses. No I didnt get a manual with the car.
The radiator is topped off and the light runs steadily, I, also not too long ago, changed the anti-freeze. The last time the light flickered intermittently the thermostat was bad. So I am not sure what this is about. About the time I started getting the light again I did have problems with the overflow. The water was not going back into the radiator from the reservoir after it cooled down. So I cyphoned out the water in the reservoir and started over. Since then I do not see that it is going into the reservoir but then again I forget to check when its hot, so it might be working now. But the light remains. Thankyou for your help Roxanne |
