Hey again everyone. I decided to post again since you guys are so helpful. I was wondering on optimal exhaust options for my 86.5 supra. I've got around $350 to spend, and i was hoping to be able to get a performance muffler and catback downpipe for around that price. This is possible, correct? I was wondering if anyone knew any good websites or diameters i should use (i was thinking 3"). I was also wondering how much it would cost to swap out my 7M-GE for a 7M-GTE, or something turbo charged. Thanks doodz.

i meant the diameters of the pipes to the cat and to the manifold. 3'' or 2.5'' is what i'm thinking about... but i think 3'' would sound a lot better. I thought the 7M-GTE IS turbo charged??

7mgte = turbocharged
7mge = na 86.5 american model = na and to be honest i wouldn't have a clue where to get 7mge parts... altho from front pipe back i believe the exhausts are identical with the swap, would you be doing it or getting a workshop to do it for you?

non turbo cat back i'd go with a 2.5 with a 3 chamber flowmaster or mac. it depends on what kind of sound you want out of your car. if you want everyone to hear you, get a 2 chamber flowmaster or cherry bomb. if you want deep tone sound get a mac. my turbo is going to go with a mac, even though shes a little rough on the backpressure.
