Coilovers Tein Flex vs RA
1988 MKIII, Turbo, all stock w/all stock options but 17" wheels/tyres. Original owner, 67K, very clean and top notch mechanical shape.
Getting ready to play street race car builder. Plan on starting with suspension then more power. I've narrowed suspension down to Tein Flex or Tein RA's. Any experience or suggestions? This is a 'Toy' and does not need to be a daily driver. May even want to take it to the track someday. |

i went to my shop jus yesterday with this issue,, now the good thing about the flexes is u can hook it up to an electronic controller , i think they calld it the EDFS that u can put inside your car and you can adjust and control your suspension without taking the traditional way of doing it
but there are cons with flexes, they wont drop your car as much as the ra's can do and doing the whole setup with the flexes will run you about 2 g's with the ra's i think you can get a good 2'' drop (not sure,i might get them mixed with the other systems) but if thier the ones im talking about you will still get the adjustability and it will run you just about a G |
