exhaust noise
I am on my second Supra, and my fifth Toyota, and all have had a high rattle noise from the exhaust during acceleration (usually between 2000-2300 RPM). My current Supra's noise dissappears after the engine warms up. As far as solutions, I've heard everyting from placing dynomat on the firewall, to a complete exhaust change. Any suggestions?

Check for loose heat shields on exhaust manifold, and cat converter, and body above cat.

maybe the brace from the exhaust that bolts to the tranny isn't bolted so it rattles?
