i have every thing set at top dead center and any thing less than 1,500 rpm's the car runs like shit but anything over that it runs fine can anyone help

it might not be the problem but try checking your throttle position sensor as when i rebuilt my engine i put this part on wrongly and my car also ran like crap at certain revs, just an idea, Good luck

How's the timing?? Is the distributor off 1 tooth. When I put mine back in after valve job, it was off 1 tooth and ran something like your describing.

have you checked the timing with a timing light?
when did it start doing this? have you done any work on the car recently?
