Another TEMS Question
I posted this in an earlier thread but got no answer. I checked the FAQ and I'm not positive. Here was the original post.
Let me see if I've got this right. I have a Normal and Sport Button on my center console. When in Normal, one light, when in Sport two lights, but if three lights are on, which I have seen, it means I'm driving hard and the system took over and went to an even stiffer ride? Is that how it works? I was wondering why there are three lights with only two setting options. Scruffboy |

If it's on NORMAL it will only ride soft or medium, never stiff. This may be good for freeway driving and you may notice a slightly smoother ride.
If it's on SPORT it will only ride medium or stiff, never soft. This is good for mountain roads and such. You should notice less body roll and less over-steer when you get on the throttle in a turn. I can't remember last time I used NORMAL but I've had my car since 1987. (1988 Turbo with all the options) |
