sorry i dont know where a replacement can be found, is it your brake lights not working or just your rear lights as when my box failed my brake lights still worked fine, it just knocked out my rear lights and there is a free way around that

^ i would agree.... the switch located on the brake pedal may not be making contact with the pedal hence the lights not working
do you have a light on your dash saying you have brake lights out, if you don't then i would say it is the brake pedal switch that needs adjusting

yeah make sure the brake switch at the pedal is operating correctly.
I had to fix some cars with the same problem. there's supposed to be a rubber groomet thing that pushes the brake switch when you push on the pedal. sometimes the rubber piece falls off, so make sure when you push the pedal, you are pressing the swich all the way down too. did you check the basic stuff like your bulbs? check if you are getting power to the bulbs? check the fuse? |

with mk3 supras the brake pedal works opposite to what the cars you have worked on previously....
when the pedal is released it pushes the switch which turns off the lights, when pressed the switch is released and brake lights turn on sounds like you got some good info to offer here targa girl.. welcome
