Right back to the original thread, a possible cause of crunching/grinding noise at full lock could be the steering bump stops are worn (see pic) they consist of a plastic cap fitted over the adjusting bolt, very cheap and easy to replace.

Somewhat comforting to know I'm not the only one with that problem. I will be changing to a TEIN Flex coilover set-up next week and plan on looking into that noise while I'm at it. I'll let you all know what I find...if anything.
Does anybody have experience discontinuing the use of the TEMS? If so, any hints? Did you just disconect at the shocks, secure and leave all wiring in place? |

i dont think your gonna have any problems if you leave the wires there
theyre arent gonna do anything anyways right?

I'm the guy who razzed you for your spelling, hope you don't hold it against me. I blew up your pic and saw what looks like a bolt. You say there is some kind of plastic cover that fits over it? If you do the fix, post another pic so we can see what you're talking about. Thanks.
