Man, you need to relax and chill out. You're beginning to sound like IHateHacks!
I dont drink anymore but when I did I used to love to have a few beers and get out in the garage and mess with stuff...having a few beers doesnt make you drunk unless you're a really pussy lightweight drinker, and people like that shouldnt drink at all.

I hope you know Im not some kid, and I will be first to agree that alot the threads on this particular forum are a bit funny and some of the advice is a bit "noobish" BUT Im really getting sick of the guys who know better coming in here, making fun of people, putting em down, and acting like they were never ever a noob themselves. Why dont we all try to help without acting so condescending. If they wanna get shredded for posting stupid stuff they can go post on SM...but lets let em have one peaceful forum where they can feel free to ask stupid question without the fear of getting jumped all over for being a noob. Can we try that please?

thank you weezl

the pvc idea was jsu a suggestions,

if you was calm enough to think about it, it would have workd for looks
if you dont like it,
at least now you got a proper format, of what kind of tubes you need
the exact bent, the exact lenght, and height for your rollbar, even where you plan to mount it...

you can work with the pvc piping to find your measurements, since its easier to cut easier to connect bends without guesswork, and its easier to cut, and much cheaper than when you make mistakes cutting when working with metal

did you think about that?

Cool

state your opinion and what outta be done not call peoples ideas crap. people are just suggesting things to other people, that doenst mean they will do it. n some ideas are better than others and have their pros and cons.

if we were all to shy to speak for ourselves b/c we are worried about our ideas getting called crap.... then we would be getting nowhere.

as far as rollbars or rollcages whatever pvc is and idea and metal /muffler pipe is also an idea if thats what you want...looks

since it's for looks not really going to be doing anything... why don't you leave that bit alone and spend the money on something you would really enjoy... maybe upgrade that exhaust, get a new intake, new intercooler... something you can really feel

just my opinion

and also this board is here so we can help the newbs... they should feel comfortable asking those awkward new questions and i like to think we're here out of the good of our supra hearts to help em out k

Relax? I may be a little brash, but it's for good purpose.
Is it wrong to agree with a guy who goes by the alias IHateHacks?

Wow. Yet another piece of information. Let me put on my shocked face.
I don't want to step on anyones toes here, but this is a bit too much.
How often have you seen someone get jumped on on SM? I think you mean SF.

I was stating my opinion, and it just so happened that what people were suggesting was crap.

Sorry, but I'm not about to sugar coat it. If it's a bad idea, it's a bad idea. Simply put.

As I said. A noob question is one thing, but the replies that are simply treading water are another thing. That's what the problem is.
Again, sorry if my responses are harsh, I don't know how else to convey my point.

I'm all for helping, seriously... But when we're actually having a full on discussion about a flimsy "roll cage" for looks and looks alone? Then PVC comes up, I can't stand it much anymore.

Default What is with everyone here??

Ok, why don't ppl just stop saying who is wrong, and what is bad, and all that stuff. Honestly, this is a help forum, just help. Opinions are all that we offer, its not to slam someone else, it just to put OUR opinion out there. If you don't like it, respectfully dissagree.

We don't need to bitch at eachother, because no one ever wins....NEVER. So why don't all of us out there just calm down, and start helping out.

Default In my defence

Ok,

Well, you said that getting a roll bar done in a muffler shop is "wrong-o", what the heck do you think they do in other places? They weld tubes together. Who says that can't be done in a different shop other than one that usually does a roll cage?

I am sorry, but the one that my brother designed is fine, it worked, well aparently. The guy that he designed it for rolled his vehicle, and guess what...it held up.

That is enough for me.
