i think it might be the engine under tray what is that for?
I believe most supra owners remove them, or they have already have been removed. It's easer to work under the car to adjust the power steering belt etc. I think the original intention of Toyota was to help the fan pull air through the radiator instead of through the bottom of the engine bay. It also keeps any water splashing up onto crank pulley belts. But as I said most people take them off and leave them off. |
my friend is telling me that is a skid pad for when your car bottom outs. (there is a lot of hills in my town)
a thin plastic skid pad? no. or am i thinking of something elese?
its jus a plastic on the bottom of the bay, basically is a dustguard to keep things like rock and other stuff from bouncing off the road and flying to your engine for any reason
but hea said the thing is holding a METAL piece this is starting to be fun any supra owners that know thier car like the back of thier hands help out here would ya' |
