something wierd under the engine!
 

I just bought my car today and while was looking under the hood i noticed that there was this thing being held up my a rope. It looked a little out of place. If someone can help that would be great. if you want pics let me know.

Obviously we need a picture. Especially with that description. Sorry, but it's the truth.

I think rope is a high-tech light weight racing component.

i cant get the images on can someone explain how?

anyway its right between the fan and front bumper and it looks like the rope is holding up a piece of metal (not the trans)

to the radiator? the radiator is hanging by a rope? lol jus joking

you know what maybe its the hood latch maybe the spring broke and he jus used a rope to help keep the hood shut

le me know if im right, anybody else got any guesses?
