NOOB, but wants to learn.
hi everyone my name is nick, i drive a 1991 240sx and i like all kinds of driving except drag racing dont know why but i dont.
anyways.....i would love to own a MK4 supra someday so i figure i would start my search and start by asking some questions. like, how much would i be looking in to spending on an MK4 as far as price goes, i would like a TT so i am guessing it aint gonna be cheap. And how hard are they to do maintenance on, i am mechanically knowleged but by no means am i the best one out there like i know how to change clutches and headgaskets, how hard are they to do on MK4's. And what goes bad on MK'4 like do they have any problems that just may pop up? are they pretty solid cars that last and only get better with age(and modifcation)? just trying to learn and gather as much info as possible before buying me a nice car. |

I am very pleased to see your eagrness to own a fine automobile, and to capitalize on your eagerness, I am going to suggest that you look around, and read most...if not all posts in the MKIV section, and in the General questions section.
That should actually give you all the info that you need....Us here will help you if there is something that isn't repeatedly asked by everyone...kinda like your question. Usually once you read those two sections....you kinda don't need much of our help....that is untill your birdcage goes on, while your temp goes through the roof, and your speedo doesn't read higher than 20km\h, yet all seems to be fixed when you hold the right door handle open, and piss on the back tire....then we will see what we can come up with...lol!
