i have a problem im not getting any spark. could the wireing harness be diffrent from 86 to 87?

no, both motors should use the same firing order. did you check your ignitor? is the signal from the distributor reaching the ignitor or coil?

i changed the distributor i dont know about the signal how do i check it?

i'd have to check my book on it, but this web site might be able to help. its designed for the 87-92 but they didnt change a whole bunch between the ignition systems.
