anything usefull..
im getting ready to purchase a 94 supra 2jz-gte, and i was wondering if anyone would be willing to help me with finding some resorces on finding any/everything i can about this car. im just getting into the tuning scene (i finally have some time and getting some good money towards tuning). so i was wondering if anyone could kinda lead me into the right direction of where i need to look on finding out what i need to know about this car to have the handeling and performance kicked up.
i know that more power is the way for better performance, but i would like to know the right way on how to go about this, cause its also gonna be my daily driver. i also know that lower and stiffer is best for handling, but again i would like to know the best way on tacklin this issue. so if anyone has time to help a new enthusiest out, i would really appreciate it, thanks |

u might jus wanna stand back for a sec
cuz the way ur situations sits u want big power but u have to use it as a daily driver kinda hard unless you can afford a car that gets 10 mpg this is where most of the challenge of new tuners come getting the car drive-able to fetch groceries and still kick sum ass in the races ur getting the mk4 with the 2jzgte twins, those things are not slow but if ur really going for big power pple have jus converted it to a single turbo (but the spool up time, is a b***h) but for starters, u cn jus upgrade ur suspension normally i'll advice sumbody to get a simple set-up ergo eibach springs but ur getting a mk4, to least u can probly go is sum tein coilovers tokico is a good brand too but look around to what fits ur driving style tho what kinds of races would u b doing in your car?

another good thing to have on all race cars is mhg and arp studs.this is also a good way to start for big hp so the engine can hold in all the power. lowered shifter (short shifters) are a good mod also. Make sure you do all the maintence upkeep first like new timming belt, oil, air filter, all that stuff just to keep in good shape.
