2JZ Trans adaptors
Hello everyone, i'm new to the Supra forums,
Before i ask my question, i'll give you a quick background on my evil build. I have a 1964 Ford Falcon wagon, it currently has a 5.0 n/a engine that runs 12s, with a C-4 trans, 5000 stall, 9" ford, mosure 31 spline axels, trans brake, and lots of other goodies. I plan to put a 2JZ into my car, as my engine bay restricts my ability to turbo my current engine, not to mention my current engine will only hold 500hp before it splits the block. an aftermarket block for my car is about 1700-2000 bucks.... and a mustang II front end is about 3k for my car, which i would need to swap a bigger V8 into my car, but your average 2JZ swap is about 1500-2500, and this seems a better route to me, and different i guess (This was not tokyo drift inspired) My question is, where is a place to find some transmission adapters, i'de like to use my C-4, but if i have to build a TH400 or a 4L80e, it doesn't matter, if you build one auto-trans, you've built them all! |
