New to Supra's....is this a good deal?

I believe its been said 150, 000 times here, and every other supra forum on the face of this planet.....

You DON'T use a metal head gasket unless you pull the engine block out of the car, and machine the head gasket surface to a MUCH finer finish than came original. Doing just the head is a waste of time and $$$$$$$$$.

As for the purchase of a car with a bhg....$500 would be more appropriate, as you have no idea if the engine will need a complete overhaul. or if the transmission is ok, or the differential. or .......??????????

If the seller is so confident in those other items, he/she should get the bhg repaired before selling.
