Wheel Bearing trouble
Hey everyone. I just bought a 1983 Supra. I got an out-of-province inspection done on it and the mechanic who checked it out won't pass it because he says both the rear wheel bearings are loose. But... the right rear wheel bearing was replaced in April. I'm wondering how much play the back wheels of the car should have, and maybe this is how it's supposed to be but the mechanic just isnt aware of that. I had a friend of mine who is a mechanic check it out afterwards and he said how much play the wheels have is definitely not a safety issue but he isnt familiar with Supras so he's not sure if its supposed to be how it is or if the wheel bearings need to be replaced.
