What I circled is the BOV.
The arrow is pointing to the hose that goes from the BOV back into the intake... this is the one u have to disconnect. But you have to PLUG that hose/hole from the intake or else u will let unmetered air into the engine and you WILL run lean. http://img144.imageshack.us/img144/7924/7mgteae7.jpg Quote:

gotcha.
jus got lost there for a little bit but, i got a broken bov right now so venting it wouldnt be my best idea right now |
If you truely have a broken BOV... Venting or not will not make a difference... You are still loosing boost pressure because of it.
But I agree, you might as well just leave it. Quote:

Is the stock BOV recirculating? By that I mean when it lets the air out it puts it back into the intake.

Of course it is... it wouldn't work any other way emissions wise

does it sound better if the bov is vented. i culd tell a major difference in sounds whne i put in my K&N intake, does ventin it also increase the sounds/make it sound better?

going from a stock airbox to a vented BOV yes it made a difference..
If it'll make as much of a difference w/ u'r modded intake, I dunno. Quote:
