What I circled is the BOV.
The arrow is pointing to the hose that goes from the BOV back into the intake... this is the one u have to disconnect. But you have to PLUG that hose/hole from the intake or else u will let unmetered air into the engine and you WILL run lean. Quote:

jus got lost there for a little bit but, i got a broken bov right now so venting it wouldnt be my best idea right now

If you truely have a broken BOV... Venting or not will not make a difference... You are still loosing boost pressure because of it.

Is the stock BOV recirculating? By that I mean when it lets the air out it puts it back into the intake.

does it sound better if the bov is vented. i culd tell a major difference in sounds whne i put in my K&N intake, does ventin it also increase the sounds/make it sound better?

going from a stock airbox to a vented BOV yes it made a difference..

Well my bov was crushd on top
It makes a good tschh schh schh sound I imagine venting that bov and crushing it too Will be nice and loud
