how heavy is a 1989 7mm gte supra? it says 4400 but i dont believe. let me know

My '89 non-turbo says 3875 lbs on the Calif. smog cert., but I believe it is more like 3600 lbs. And my dad use to tell me at 16 (when I started to drive, a Ford Galaxy 500 fully loaded station wagon), "son, be careful, that's a 4000 lb death weapon your drivin".
Hard to believe these supras weigh soooo much. But, they had to be strong enough to take the beating we give 'em.
