I have an 86 turbo that I bought as a basket case. The engine was out and in pieces. all the machine work is done and new parts bought. My question is which way the connecting rods go in? The book I have is old and does not provide a good description.

My mistake, you are correct I have an 89 not an 86. Thanks for the info. I am ready to start assembly and want to be sure it is right. Greatly appreciated.
