head gasket check
I not sure the head gasket is blown and I dont want to tear it down and open the head and have to replace it any way when I break the seal. I have heard you can put air into the spark plug holes and it will tell you if the exhaust valve is bent or stuck open if air comes out the tail pipe and if it comes from the dip stick or oil filler hole it could be a intake valve,
but I dont know for shure about air that leaks from the oil filler hole or dip stick and if it comes from between the other cylinders please some one tell me what they mean and if there is another procedure to do to check if it is the head gasket is blown, and when I got the car a while ago first I checked the oil filler cap for mayonase and the dip stick they were both clean |
theres a coolant test you can do. you can usually buy one at a automotive store.

thanks alot do you know how much it cost, and is it the stuff you put in the radiator

ya thats the one, if the fluid color turns any other color than what it came with then bhg. dont know how much it costs. think its like 10-15 bucks. hopefully someone else will chime in here and let you know

i heard it was around 50 dollars. I've personally went and asked several different auto parts stores if they had a block test kit and they all looked at me weird, all though i did find it online, i'll try and find it again.

They are called block testers, also known as a combustion leak tester. A combustion test kit can be found at your local NAPA, auto parts store. The part number is 700-1006. The price for this part is less than $50.00. Exhaust gases in your cooling system can suggest a head gasket leak, a cracked block, or a warped head.here you go found this in a yahoo search, hope this helps.

also i didnt fully read your first post but it appears you were wondering on how to do a compression test to it as well... the sticking something in spark plug hole thing you mentioned... you can do that as well. there are compression testers you can buy.
