Talking Blown Away!

Wow, I just saw my first Lotus Exige, and skidded to a stop to check it out. It looks almost like a toy, like about 1/3 the size of my Supra. It has a 1.8 liter Toyota 4 dohc with a Supercharger! The base model puts out 190 hp and the Series 2 around 219. Only about 300 are to be sold in North America. While this was one wild looking ride, it didn't look like it would be very comfortable. I'd have to be shoe horned into the thing and I am of average height and weight. If you would like to see it just google Lotuse Exige and you wil see what I'm talking about. It's built in England, I guess Toyota bought Lotus? Can't keep track anymore. I'm waiting for the day there is only one car company and one car model. Don't laugh, look at the airline industry.

Those things are purpose built race cars. They are so light, they can out-perform much heavier cars toteing around 400hp.

As far as the yoda motor, they didn't buy them out. They just chose to use a toyota motor, for whatever reason.
