need help! is this mkIII shady?
88 supra, targa, non-turbo, $2500.
The title is listed on autotrader as 'cosignment'. He says there is nothing wrong with the car. The dates on the 3 pictures show 2005, but he says in the description the dates are wrong. I can count 15 other cars in the pictures. The name on the building matches the name advertised. The dates say feb 3 and 4 of 05 but there is no snow, its gloomy, but no snow. The location is Verona, PA and i heard that its a bad neighborhood, and when is there not snow in PA in early feb? When i called, he said that it was a 'mechanic's car,' i know what a mechanics special is, but i believe he meant that it was owned by a mechanic. I did a carfax and its a little wierd. -in 99 it got an EML title at a reported 146K miles. -in 02 the title was updated and a new owner was reported 500 miles later. -in 03 the title was updated and new owner reported, exempt from miles. -in 05 the same thing was recorded, -in 07 the same was recorded 366 days later. the car can be found here theres another one that looks more reliable 1987 Toyota SUPRA, great father / son project car - $1075 price lowered from $1450, will not take a penny less runs good standard transmission exhaust about 2 years old brand new battery needs some tlc comes with 2 rotors (brakes are soft) has noise coming from the rear/possible wheel bearing needing replaced has a crack in the windshield i have about 2300 saved up and really need a car. so what do you reccoment i do? any help would be greatly appreciated. Here is one a little closer to you that is about the same price.
http://autos.yahoo.com/usedcars/deta...Ztbz1TdXByYSY- The phrase that its "mint condition" though with what look like plain black steel rims means its definately a used car salesman selling it. 1991 though is more desireable than the others and it might just be a turbo. The drivers door looks loke its missing the door trim. |

The bodys I think are better looking than the 87-88 supras especially the rear spoiler.
