water pumps..

When our car is always heating up, that's why always need to have water when travelling. We have checked the radiator and the cooling part of the vehicle. We need to replace the Toyota water pump and we don't have any idea how to look for the best one. It's my sister's car so we are clueless about it. Need some help on this one. Thanks.

Our overheating problem was simply a bad thermostat which was a quick 20 minute fix.

It's always better to test the basic areas first. You may just save yourself a lot of time and money. If it's not the thermostat, check the hoses for leaks, fan belt for slipage, make sure the clutch fan is working properly, etc.

Don't buy an aftermarket water pump, the quality is inferior compared to a dealer water pump.

Just order one from any Toyota dealer, they are $99 plus tax.
