7MGE to 1JZGTE engine swap help please!
hey, i just bought an 86.5 supra with a brand new 7MGE engine. its manual transmission. ive been reading threads about how i should just buy a new engine such as a 7mgte or an 1jzgte/tte instead of just throwin a turbo kit on the original engine. if i can get some help please on what is better to do and if it is better to swap for an 1jzgte motor, what xtra parts i need for the swap. thanks

each swap will have its complications, the 2jz with the most because it was never in a mkiii, the 1jz because parts are scarce. the 7mgte will prolly be most easy. with each, you will need the get a ecu/stand alone, ic and piping, exhaust, and bell housing for the tranny. gl with your decision and swap
