Default MK2 Six Speed?

Hey! I'm newer to the board. I have an 85 supra that I'm currently fixing up. I was talking with a co-worker who mentioned that there was a six speed manual transmission that could be put in my '85 supra. I have looked and looked, but I couldn't find anything. I was just wondering if anybody has seen one available. Thanks!!!

its called the get-rag six speed trans that belong with the 2jzgte motor

i dont know how big the trans tunnel is with the mk2
but i believe with a little customization, it could be done,
then again idk how ur gonna bolt the get-rag to the 5m motor

If you want a Getrag 6 in your second gen, then you need to have the 2JZ to put in front of it. Or go with the 3rd gen driveline. I had a complete buildup from a guy in Canada who has or had an 82 with a 7MGTE dropped in it. He said one word. ROCKET. He had fabricated a complete harness and everything to make it a painless process dropping a 7MGTE into a second gen. I was going to do it until I moved from PA to MS and had to leave my 85 supra behind. I had no way to bring it down here. I would like to find another one, one day, only to drop a 2JZ in it. I dunno.

Thank you very much for the tips! I've always wanted to put a six speed in my car but I never really thought it was possible.
