water pump for my supra..
Hi guys, I'm new in here and just want to be expert with my car. I own this Supra for almost 3years now and this is my first time to have a problem with it. I'm with some friends last week going on a long drive going to their place. I guess it's two towns from my place, 5-7 miles I think. Were almost half of it then it overheated, I'm not sure when was the last maintenance of this but my dad was the one in charge that's why I'm not sure of the shedules.
A mechanic told us that the problem was the Toyota Water pump. Where can I get one? I need a cheap but same quality stock. Thanks for the input. |

Yes you do want the same quality as stock. Go with one from a Toyota dealer. They are $99 and its a special order part meaning its not in stock. Will take about a day to get it. Don't buy an aftermarket one from discount part stores, the quality is inferior, the impeller blade is made of cast iron instead of aluminum.
