Hey again... please respond to this ASAP. I know you all said it's a scam and i thought the same but since my last post i got an e-mail from eBay and the seller saying this: The purchase will go through eBay, the down payment of $2000 will be withheld by eBay and i have 10 days after the car arrives to make sure everything is good. If not, the seller is obliged to pay for shipping again and i get a full refund and the seller never sees the money from eBay. Ive never done this through eBay before but im thinking about calling eBay and speaking to someone about all these details. If eBay can tell me that unless I give the OK to send the money, i can test drive the Supra for a week and decide if i want it pretty much..... What not?? Im confused and don't know what to do!!! I want this car so bad that i want this to work but i really dont know what to do.. Regardless, im calling eBay and asking about specific member names, ID's etc... If that all checks out should i go for it??? Has anyone gone though this before?

i can't say personally as i don't live that side of the world... but yes you have good thinking... i would phone up ebay and ask them... give them the auction # etc and see how they get on... let us know what they say

Hey, this seems like it's going to happen! I still know not to get my hopes up all the way but its hard.. haha. Anyways, everything seems to be going good, i got a carfax report of the car, everything matches and the car has a clean record. All i'm waiting for is for eBay to reply to my e-mail and confirm that everything is legit and if so..... ima own a supra.. *does a dance*.

Theres one thing i have to make sure about though. I dont know if the answer would have an affect on the purchase but the car is always refered to as a "turbo". Are the only two ways to go: Non-Turbo and Twin Turbo? (that's what i thought)

This is exactly what carfax said about the model: 1997 TOYOTA SUPRA W-SPORT RF LTD ED

Engine type: 3.0L L6 TURBO EFI

And i just found out it has a targa top too so thats cool.

So all you experienced Supra owners... if im going to do this it will be withing the next 2-5 days and ill hopefully have the car in a week or two. Thanks for the help!!

hmmmm strange, the auction was removed from ebay....

i still believe this is a scam.... if it was 14,000k and above i would possibly believe it, there's one in the for sale section here can't remember the specs

but i'm still wary...

can you pm me the details of the carfax? i wanna check with a friend of mine that has access to it to see if its dodgy at all...

i really wouldn't want your money to go to waste

I sent you a link Suprra_Girl. Let me know what you think.
And i still waiting a reply from eBay about the whole thing with the "eBay agent" and such. They don't have a phone number that i can find...
