ok if it is twin turbo i highly doubt it is $400 or $4000 buy now... you can't even buy a mint mk3 for that
email him and ask him if you can look at the car... see what he replies with... post it here if ur not sure

Hey everyone,
i got an e-mail back from the seller saying that he is from the US, got moved to London and from what im told has the car there but can't keep it there because of work... He says he just needs to get rid of the car and he will pay for all shipping costs. He said, $2000.00 deposit, he sends the papers and keys overnight then a couple days later the car should come and pay the other $2000.00. He said he's planning on selling the car in the US so i asked if he could get it shipped here to someone that can help him sell it so i can see it. But i don't know, im really don't want this to be any scam but i have to be 100% sure it isn't for me to continue with this. What would you guys do as far as making this a secure transaction, hoping this isn't a scam. Thanks a lot everyone. -mark |

scam
sorry dude.... generally genuine buyers will sell the car.. and only sell it if the car is completely paid for... they don't take deposits or offer to pay for shipping or papers or anything.. so.. good luck in finding your dream car and please don't waste your effort, time and money on this thanks for posting up the email tho

total scam, been accross this many times already, you have to ask permission to bid, and then he gives you this whole story about having to move and the cars with him, and he'll pay shipping blah blah blah.
