Default door control module

hey, i just got my supra running today and i went to put the windows down and they dont go down, and i found a door control module on the pass floor so im not sure where the problem could be. i sure hope its not both window motors but im thinking its that module, im just not sure where it goes. can someone tell me where that module is located, and if that the problem.

thanks in advance

Cool

if your supra has been sitting for a while it could be as simple as
cleaning the contacts on the switches in the door , they get a little rusty and the windows won't work .
in your case since you found something on the floor indicates someone's been there before

Wink

VERY unlikey that both motors are bad. If the passenger side switch is unplugged, neither side will work.

It is one of the most complicated window control systems I have run across.

Pull the switches and spray clean them with brake cleaner spray or MAF cleaner spray.

This will be a challenging repair. please keep us posted with your progress so I can edit and eventually place the thread in the FAQs section for others to use.

Thanx

will do, i am busy this weekend so on monday i will start working on it.
but is there a door control module for the windows?? i just found it on the floor and was wondering if that could be the prob, i dont know if there is still one connected or if this one was taken out, or if that module is for something else like power locks or something.
