So now after owning a 1984 celica supra which i unknowingly let overheat causing it to blow its head gasket tore it it down to the head and while waiting for it to be rebuilt somehow thought that installing my stereo while i was waiting was an intelligient thing to do caught the thing on fire i then went and purchased a supposed 86 with a blown head gasket to have an 86 with an 87 engine in it totally different engine now for a second time she who had never owned an import before 2 weeks ago was tearing one down to the head amazingly i have got it all back together again and guess what it wont start everything is connected and routed properly set to TDC i just dont get it and now i cant find the plugin for my code reader any input would be helpful

ok so for clarification
you have an 87 supra? mk3 supra? turbo or non turbo? what it's doing... cranking and no fire or just not doing anything at all? explain a little further what it's doing

Ok its a 7M GE non turbo I can get it to crank but it wont catch not even sputter I got spark I got compression and I got gas everything is set to TDC My firing order is correct Ive tried turning the distributer and still not even a sputter I did locate my diagnostic terminal and i get code 24 air intake temperature sensor would this keep my car from starting?
